If you would be interested in a fun filled weekend learning and broadening leadership skills, learn how to be a camp counselor/ ambassador, and meet other senior level teens, the Texas 4-H Center Teen Weekend is the place to be! January 6-8, 2023, dozens of teens will gather for teambuilding exercises, challenge courses, and demonstrate what it truly means to be a young leader. District Opportunities

State Opportunities

This event filled up fast last year. Mark your calendar if you would like to attend.

Who: This event is open to actively enrolled junior, intermediate, senior 4-H members, and adults.

What: Participants will engage in hands-on STEM activities, have a presentation from an astronaut, visit rocket city on a guided tram tour, and visit the many space exhibits within the space center. This is an overnight camping experience in or outside (your choice) of the space center.

When: March 4-5, 2023; Registration will be open on 4HOnline January 1-31, 2023.

Where: Johnson Space Center, Houston

How Much: Cost will be $90/person (youth and adult).

4-H All Stars

Way to go Beef Club! 4-H Beef Club Christmas Party tonight. Had lots of fun with these young people! Missed a few tonight.

We also collected blankets slippers and house shoes for Harbor Hospice. Thankful for this group of people in our lives

Sam Tyler, Jack Tyler, and Andrew Childress did our county proud at the District 5 4-H Food Show. Jack placed 2nd in Intermediate appetizers, and Andrew placed 2nd in Senior main dish. Way to go gentlemen!
